The Tithes, Offerings, and Donations buttons open Square’s checkout. Review the recipient, amount, gift description, and any displayed charges before confirming. The website currently links to one-time giving. If checkout says payments are unavailable, do not assume a gift was completed.
Payment information and receipts
Enter card or account details only in the provider’s checkout, never in the church’s membership form or an ordinary email. Payment processing, transaction notices, and availability depend on the provider. The church may access donor and transaction records through its provider for recordkeeping and acknowledgments.
A checkout receipt is a transaction record and may not contain every statement needed for a charitable-contribution acknowledgment. Request a giving statement or correction from [email protected]. This website does not guarantee that a contribution is tax-deductible; consult your tax adviser about your circumstances.
Mistakes, duplicate payments, and refund requests
If you believe a gift was made in error, duplicated, or unauthorized, promptly contact [email protected] and the payment provider as appropriate. Include the date, amount, and transaction reference, but no full card or bank numbers. Refund requests require review; this page does not promise an automatic refund or establish a blanket no-refund rule. Your rights under applicable law and provider procedures remain available.
Designated gifts
If you want a gift restricted to a particular project or purpose, discuss it with the church before giving and obtain confirmation of acceptance. Selecting a general giving category is not confirmation of a separate restricted-gift agreement.
Protect yourself from impersonation
Use giving links reached directly from greatermtpleasant.com and verify unexpected payment requests with the church through its published email address. Do not send passwords or verification codes to someone claiming to represent the church.
